Stock Unloader Associate

Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers a valuable opportunity to develop skills in retail operations. This role involves assisting with trailer unloading, merchandise processing, and moving pallets to the store floor, all while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the Receiving Area prior to shipments
• Unload and sort incoming general merchandise from trailers
• Complete the unloading of any remaining merchandise during live unloads
• Ensure the cold chain is maintained for refrigerated and frozen products during receiving and stocking
• Move pallets of merchandise to the salesfloor for overnight processing
• Assist in stocking the salesfloor as assigned and provide customer assistance when needed
• Label and place overstock products appropriately
• Promote a safe and clean work environment through adherence to company policies, including safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
