Role Overview

As part of Notion's sales team with a strong Product-Led Growth approach, this role emphasizes assisting customers who begin with the self-service product and later seek tailored integrations, replacements for existing systems, or large phased deployments to meet business goals. Early in the Solutions Engineering team, you will:

• Collaborate closely with sales colleagues to engage prospective and current customers.
• Address complex technical and product inquiries, including responses to RFPs and security questionnaires promptly and accurately.
• Offer expert technical support throughout the sales cycle with the goal of facilitating successful customer deployment and integration of Notion.
• Demonstrate personalized solutions highlighting Notion's capabilities in supporting customer workflows and integrations during pre-sales engagements.
• Gather and organize detailed product feedback to drive improvements by the Product and Engineering teams.
• Partner with marketing to develop and refine the product’s technical messaging, including producing educational content like blog posts and webinars.
• Train the sales team on product updates, competitive insights, and relevant information about customer environments and third-party applications.
• Create comprehensive documentation of technical topics to enrich internal knowledge resources benefiting various teams and partners.

Essential Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Proficient in explaining API use cases for advanced customer workflows.
• Experienced with third-party integrations involving IAM/SSO, DLP, or SIEM platforms.
• Strong project management skills, having driven complex projects from inception to completion.
• Possess a growth mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to early-stage team development.
• Highly adaptable, capable of thriving in fast-evolving business and industry conditions.

Desirable Skills

• Experience as a first or early employee in a rapidly expanding startup.
• Familiarity with using Notion.
• Basic coding abilities to create scripts utilizing the Notion API.
• Knowledge of relational database design and usage.

Compensation

Notion offers competitive cash remuneration, equity options, and benefits. The total on-target earnings, including base salary and incentives, range from approximately €119,000 to €133,000 per year. Actual compensation will be influenced by location, role scope, complexity, and candidate expertise.
