Overview

This internship opportunity is based at Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, located in Grünheide, Brandenburg, Germany. It is a part-time position, designed to last for six months, offering hands-on experience within the Quality Data Lab—an essential hub for data science and analytics within the manufacturing operations of Giga Berlin.

Internship Role and Responsibilities

• Gain insights into building data teams and managing data-driven projects.
• Contribute to coding and development of ETL pipelines aimed at enhancing programming skills.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to interpret problem statements, narrow the focus of analyses, and apply findings to inform strategic decisions.
• Create impactful data visualizations and prepare comprehensive presentations.
• Support design, development, and deployment of data-centric solutions.
• Participate in close teamwork, undertaking complex problem-solving and coding assignments.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience writing professional-grade software.
• Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard frameworks like Dash, Plotly, Matplotlib, or Panel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to shape challenges and derive solutions based on available data.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear documentation.
• Possess a humble yet proactive approach, demonstrating a bias towards action.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
