About Northern Star Surface Mining
Northern Star Surface Mining (NSSM) is the newly formed division of Northern Star Resources, a leading gold producer in Australia. NSSM focuses on delivering exceptional results in surface gold mining with operations across Western Australia and Alaska. The first project is located at the iconic Super Pit, underpinned by Northern Star's STARR Core Values.
Role Overview
This position involves managing site administrative functions on an 8/6 FIFO roster based in Perth. The Site Administrator supports mining operations through efficient site access management, travel coordination, roster and accommodation management, data updates, procurement compliance, event support, and daily reporting.
Key Duties
- Oversee the Site Access process for new employees and contractors, ensuring compliance with the Site Entry Policy.
- Coordinate transport arrangements to and from the mining site.
- Manage site rosters and allocate accommodation in the mining village.
- Maintain timely and accurate updates in INX Inflight and related databases.
- Ensure that Pronto requisitions and work orders conform to company procedures.
- Assist with organizing site events and functions.
- Support with daily and weekly operational reporting.
- Provide general administrative assistance to operational departments as needed.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Previous FIFO site administration experience is essential.
- Possession of a current Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence.
- Proficiency with INX Inflight and Pronto systems.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective interaction across all organizational levels.
