About the Role
A reputable Main Building Contractor is seeking a Setting-Out Engineer to join a prestigious hospitality development project in County Clare, Ireland. Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise setting-out operations using advanced surveying tools.
- Manage subcontractors effectively on site to align with project milestones.
- Oversee and supervise the work of various trades and contractors to ensure compliance.
- Uphold rigorous health and safety protocols throughout the site.
- Verify architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy and correctness of calculations.
- Ensure adherence to contract specifications regarding work quality and material usage.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and other professionals to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ hands-on experience in setting-out on construction projects within Ireland or the UK.
- Possession of a Construction or Civil Engineering degree equivalent to Level 8 or higher.
- Proven expertise with robotic Total Stations, Electronic Distance Measurement (EDM) instruments, and GPS technology for exact setting-out tasks.
- Willingness to travel as project needs dictate.
- Valid Safe Pass certification mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range between €60,000 and €65,000.
