About the Role
Malones Toyota Drogheda is looking for a skilled and motivated Service Manager to oversee and lead their aftersales team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a capable leader with in-depth knowledge of motor industry service functions and a dedication to providing top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide leadership to the service department, encompassing technicians, service advisors, and support personnel.
- Organize and direct daily workshop operations to guarantee efficient bookings and punctual completion of vehicle repairs and servicing.
- Uphold exceptional workmanship standards, adhering strictly to manufacturer instructions and recognized industry best practices.
- Track and evaluate workshop efficiency, productivity, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction, taking measures to drive continuous improvement.
- Offer technical support and address any customer or workshop-related challenges promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Foster strong collaboration with customers, team members, and other departments to create an exceptional customer experience.
- Oversee workshop inventory, parts availability, and tools to maintain smooth operational workflow.
- Stay informed about manufacturer guidelines, industry trends, and participate in ongoing training.
- Compile and present regular performance reports to senior management.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Service Manager at a main dealer within the motor industry.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities capable of inspiring and nurturing a high-achieving team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills suited to a fast-paced working environment with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of aftersales and workshop operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with a customer-centric mindset.
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of a full driving license is mandatory.
- Having a mechanic qualification is a plus but not required.
