Senior Technical Project Manager - Digital Transformation

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager with extensive technical expertise and proven delivery skills to oversee a portfolio of technology and digital transformation projects. This position demands full accountability for project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, and business results, leading initiatives from start to finish across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of several simultaneous technology and digital transformation projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Create and sustain integrated project schedules, budgets, critical paths, and resource allocations, actively managing dependencies and constraints across projects.
• Take ownership of project scopes, deadlines, budget adherence, quality standards, risk management, and overall delivery results.
• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to convert priorities into clear project scopes, deliverables, and actionable plans.
• Manage relationships and align expectations among stakeholders including sponsors, business owners, internal teams, and external vendors.
• Administer project governance through steering committees, status updates, detailed reporting, risk and issue management, and change control processes.
• Track project budgets and forecasts, analyzing deviations and suggesting corrective measures.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority to ensure commitment and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Implement and maintain standardized project management methodologies, templates, reporting formats, and discipline across the project portfolio.
• Drive the realization of quantifiable business benefits beyond the project's closure.
• Lead AI, machine learning, and generative AI projects collaboratively with data, engineering, security, and governance teams.
• Ensure AI projects comply with governance, security, privacy, and safety protocols, including validation, monitoring, and human oversight before deployment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing complex end-to-end technology projects, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated success delivering healthcare-related technology and digital transformation projects within agreed timelines, scope, and budgets.
• Skilled in facilitating requirement gathering and translating business needs into clear project specifications and delivery plans.
• Knowledgeable in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies; choosing and applying the optimal method per project context.
• Technical proficiency for engaging with engineering, data, and platform teams, understanding architectures, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
• Capable of evaluating and constructively challenging project assumptions and designs while identifying critical risks and dependencies.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder management, negotiation, and clear communication across various organizational levels.
• Experienced in budget management, forecasting, expenditure control, and vendor coordination.
• Proficient with project and portfolio management tools, reporting, and data analysis.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of multitasking in rapidly changing environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience leading AI, machine learning, or generative AI projects from proof-of-concept through full production rollout.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of AI-driven development or agentic tools.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent.
