About the Role and Company
Raytheon has a century-long legacy of expertise dedicated to supporting national and allied defense by addressing complex security challenges. The Global Security Services division in Qatar seeks a Senior Security Manager to support the Doha Site Executive and Leadership Team. This pivotal role entails overseeing security operations spanning multiple countries, including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman to safeguard personnel, technologies, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead international security programs ensuring physical security measures and force protection practices are implemented effectively.
- Manage Contractor on the Battlefield (COTB) support and ensure compliance with legal requirements of foreign entities.
- Collaborate closely with regional leadership, U.S. Government agencies, embassy security, CENTCOM partners, host-nation authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of sites, suppliers, and field service representative locations across the region.
- Develop and execute transportation, shipping, and field security plans.
- Oversee physical security operations including access control, badging, alarm responses, and incident investigations.
- Supervise security vendors and liaison with building security and landlords.
- Support executive visits, coordinate executive protection, and manage personnel clearances and internal security investigations.
- Deliver threat briefings, support crisis management and risk assessment activities, and maintain emergency communication tools.
- Travel regionally and internationally as required to support ongoing security operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years relevant experience or advanced degree with 8+ years in international security.
- Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance at Secret level required before start date; U.S. citizenship mandatory.
- Experience managing international security services and crisis situations with strong coordination and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in physical and technical security systems, risk mitigation, and application of international security standards such as ISO 27001, ASIS, and BS7858.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in security management, criminal justice, business management, or related fields.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification.
- Advanced expertise in physical security, threat management, evacuation planning, with experience working in the Middle East preferred.
- Proficiency in delivering clear, risk-based security briefings and analysis of security intelligence.
- Experience with multi-country corporate or government security responsibilities.
Additional Information
This is a long-term, onsite assignment in Qatar under a Memorandum of Understanding with additional compensation and benefits. Employment is contingent upon passing comprehensive medical evaluation for overseas deployment.
Compensation ranges between 132400 USD and 251600 USD annually. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision coverage, various insurances, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, paid parental leave, paid time off, and other perks based on business unit policies. Annual incentive programs may be available depending on position level and collective bargaining agreements.
The role is formally based in the U.S., and pay and benefits structures will align accordingly for candidates residing in U.S. territories.
