Job description
Position Overview
An established international engineering consultancy is looking to hire a Senior Roads Design Engineer who specializes in planning and designing sophisticated highway and transport infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is essential; a Master's degree is considered an advantage.
- At least 15 years of proven experience in road and highway infrastructure design.
- Minimum of five years working experience within the GCC region.
- Mandatory possession of a valid MMUP (UPDA) certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in geometric design for highways, interchanges, and urban roadway systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of both international and local (Qatar) standards and specifications for road design.
- Skilled in using industry-standard design software including Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and related engineering applications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and technical report writing abilities.
- Experience collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams managing large infrastructure projects.
