Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS)

Overview

Join Snoonu, Qatar's innovative Super App company, as a Senior Mobile Engineer focusing on iOS development. Engage with a dynamic team working on a modern Swift-based app designed from scratch starting Q3 2021. The project emphasizes advanced mobile techniques and continuous integration of new technologies like Swift UI and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features within product teams.
• Participate actively in planning technical backlogs and project development.
• Adopt and contribute to a scrum-like agile development process involving team feedback.
• Communicate effectively in English daily.
• Deliver impactful contributions to product evolution.

Technical Environment

• The application is written entirely in Swift, targeting iOS 14 or higher.
• The codebase is organized in a multi-module structure managed with Tuist.
• Continuous experimentation with emerging technologies such as Swift UI and Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Adherence to trunk-based development methodology.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in native iOS development using Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Strong grasp of Swift and Objective-C fundamentals including collections, concurrency, and memory management.
• Skilled in designing precise custom UI components.
• Understanding of Clean Architecture principles.
• Proficient with HTTP protocols and version control using Git.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming patterns.
• Communication skills sufficient to discuss work experience and job descriptions in English without extensive dictionary use.

Preferred Extras

• Experience writing unit tests.
• Familiarity with trunk-based development in practice.
• Knowledge of VIPER architecture pattern.
• Experience using networking libraries such as Moya and Alamofire.
• Skills in configuring Continuous Integration environments.
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform frameworks.
