Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Gurugram. This full-time role requires working from office two days per week and focuses on in-depth analysis of large transactional datasets to provide actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze extensive transactional data sets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support data analysis tasks.
- Apply SQL best practices and performance tuning techniques to optimize query performance.
- Utilize advanced SQL features such as Window Functions, Joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and subqueries.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability for reporting and dashboard purposes.
- Continuously enhance database and data processing efficiency through query optimization.
- Create reusable data models, datasets, and frameworks that support ongoing analytical needs.
Requirements
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience as a Data Analyst or SQL Developer.
- Demonstrated expertise with transactional data and relational databases.
- Deep knowledge of SQL, specifically with complex constructs including Window Functions, CTEs, aggregations, and logical query building.
- Experience in query performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and fundamentals of data warehousing.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
