Role Overview

This part-time role (2 days per week) is a 12-month fixed-term position based at the Mascot Head Office in Sydney. The Senior Advisor will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to implement strategic people programs, drive organisational change, and provide operational HR support in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR Business Partners and organizational leaders with diverse people-related activities in a visible and complex setting.
  • Deliver cultural, capability, engagement, and business performance initiatives.
  • Lead and aid strategic people programs in partnership with HR stakeholders.
  • Assist with organizational design, restructures, employee transitions, and change management across various business units.
  • Provide operational HR support during peak times, including recruitment, onboarding, and routine people processes.
  • Analyze workforce data to gain insights that inform effective business solutions.
  • Contribute to initiatives promoting culture, engagement, talent development, and organizational capability.
  • Establish trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders to offer practical HR guidance and solutions.
  • Work collaboratively within the People community to enhance best practices and continuous improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in Human Resources or People Advisory functions.
  • Familiarity with modern HR practices and employment lifecycle management.
  • Strong skills in relationship management, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Capability to support organizational change and business projects.
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
