As a SEM Technician within the Technology Development (TD) lab in Singapore, you will operate and maintain Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs) and prepare samples using various equipment including acid hoods, sputter coaters, ion millers, UV cleaners, etchers, micro-cleaving tools, and optical microscopes. This role emphasizes detail-oriented analysis using SEM, supporting different NAND technology nodes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and perform minor maintenance on SEM equipment and related sample preparation tools.
• Provide SEM support across various NAND technology nodes during development phases.
• Collaborate with process and integration engineers to understand and prioritize SEM requests.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external suppliers about tool operations, troubleshooting, and support issues.
• Diagnose and resolve SEM tool problems to optimize performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes such as wet etching, dry etching, PVD, ALD, and CMP.
• Experience with SEM or FIB (Focused Ion Beam) operation techniques.
• Ability to work independently while managing priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Problem-solving aptitude with ability to analyze and provide solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and OneNote.
• Willingness to work any shift based on a rotating schedule.
