SAP ABAP Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SAP business systems and requires thorough expertise in ABAP development and integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP modules with strong expertise.
• Handle interfaces and file processing using technologies such as RFC, IDOC, Proxy, OData, API, and web services.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementation projects from design to deployment.
• Create and manage Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, complex reports, workflows, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, and Object-Oriented ABAP including BRF and WebDynpro.
• Analyze business requirements, evaluate existing systems, design solutions, and translate these into detailed programming specifications.
• Implement programming designs effectively by writing accurate and efficient code.
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
• Diagnose problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams, even outside primary areas of expertise, to provide timely solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as SAP ABAP Developer with strong knowledge of the ABAP module.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP interface technologies including RFC, IDOC, Proxy, OData, API, and web services.
• Proficient with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, workflows, reports, BADIs, BAPIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, Business Rule Framework (BRF), and WebDynpro development.
• Capable of thoroughly analyzing and translating business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members of various technical backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, including handling ambiguous or complex situations.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Kochi, Kerala, India.
