Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to engage prospective clients and demonstrate how Jiga can support their engineering, supply chain, and procurement operations. This role is instrumental in expanding our business by executing outreach strategies and identifying new sales opportunities.
Location and Employment Type
- This is a full-time position operating remotely within the GMT-6 timezone, with a flexibility of plus or minus 3 hours.
- The candidate does not need to reside in the United States to be eligible.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a high volume of outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn communications daily to engage cold and warm prospects, following up promptly on potential opportunities.
- Evaluate prospects quickly to assess sales opportunity viability and arrange meetings for account executives.
- Develop targeted prospect lists based on ideal customer profiles.
- Listen attentively to customer needs and effectively convey Jiga's value proposition.
- Design, develop, and execute sales strategies to increase product demonstrations.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, profiles, and subsequent steps using Hubspot CRM.
- Meet or exceed established daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance internal workflows and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record as an SDR, BDR, Account Executive, or comparable software sales role; SaaS experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in multi-channel outreach methods, including email, phone calls, and LinkedIn.
- Comfortable working asynchronously and remotely utilizing digital tools such as Notion, Slack, Loom, and Google Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong active listening abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive demeanor, empathy, and energetic attitude.
- Experience in industrial sectors like manufacturing or engineering is a plus but not mandatory.
