About the Role

This position is crucial to our commitment to safety, focusing on fostering a robust safety culture by ensuring adherence to safety protocols, recognizing hazards, and maintaining a secure setting for employees, guests, and airline collaborators.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the alignment of daily duties with 1Aviation's Vision, Mission, and Values.
• Advocate and enforce compliance with Quality, Safety, and Security standards derived from legislation, regulation, industry norms, and company mandates.
• Conduct frequent safety audits, workplace surveillance, and operational oversight to detect hazards and unsafe acts.
• Carry out routine inspections and safety patrols within operational and administrative zones.
• Observe employee behaviors and practices to confirm conformity with safety policies and regulations.
• Support investigations related to incidents, accidents, near-misses, and safety issues.
• Identify and report risk factors and unsafe behaviors, suggesting appropriate corrective measures.
• Participate in the rollout of safety initiatives, campaigns, awareness programs, and adherence efforts.
• Assist in organizing safety audits, drills, inspections, and emergency readiness exercises.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain a compliant and risk-conscious workplace atmosphere.
• Document safety observations, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records as required.
• Perform additional safety duties as directed by supervisors.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience or academic background in Aviation, Airport Operations, Safety, Security, Facilities, Logistics, Manufacturing, or similar operational sectors is beneficial.
• Familiarity with safety concepts, hazard identification, and compliance regulations is desirable.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Acute observational attention to detail.
• Competency in Microsoft Office software.
• Willingness to perform inspections in field and operational settings.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or exposure to safety roles are welcome to apply.
