About The Role

Based in Rochester and serving areas throughout London and Kent, this position offers a salary up to £38,000 annually alongside a company van and fuel card. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a basic DBS check.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled roof inspections and evaluations to determine repair or replacement needs.
• Execute roofing repairs and installations in line with planned projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Replace or repair roofing components such as tiles, slates, and flashings as part of scheduled maintenance.
• Apply weatherproofing and protective coatings to enhance the longevity of roofing installations.
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols and cultivate a safe working environment.
• Handle roofing materials, tools, and equipment to guarantee readiness for assigned tasks.
• Work alongside the broader maintenance team to ensure efficient and coordinated delivery of roofing projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a roofer specializing in planned maintenance or project-based work.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, installation procedures, and repair techniques.
• Competence in safely operating roofing tools and equipment.
• Capability to work at heights and adapt to various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail paired with effective problem-solving skills.
• Possession of a valid driving licence and a commitment to excellent customer service.
