Role Overview

We are looking to hire a Retail Buyer based at our Richardson location in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will play a key part in inventory management and product selection to ensure optimal stock levels aligned with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement weekly reorder plans using predefined minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Verify the correctness of pricing and product details on purchase orders.
• Manage and update product database and SKUs continuously.
• Coordinate with Marketing on introducing new or customized items.
• Maintain positive communication with staff and respond to inquiries.
• Balance immediate ordering needs while maintaining a diverse product assortment for customers.
• Work collaboratively with the buying team to ensure efficient workflow and effective inventory controls.
• Foster and sustain good vendor relationships, including pricing negotiations.
• Oversee management of obsolete stock, current inventory, and incoming products.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum two years experience in retail or inventory-related positions.
• Demonstrated proactive and positive approach to problem solving.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of bicycle maintenance is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Full-time employment with a salary ranging from $45,000 to $52,500 annually.
