Role Overview
As a Restaurant Captain at Grover Sweets, you will be pivotal to delivering an exceptional dining experience by managing guest services and maintaining high standards of fine-dining protocols. Your responsibilities include overseeing waiter teams, ensuring quality control of food and service, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide personalized attention to enhance their dining experience.
- Oversee order taking and food delivery, ensuring adherence to fine-dining service standards.
- Lead and manage waitstaff by delegating tables, monitoring their performance, and maintaining discipline during shifts.
- Conduct quality checks on food presentation, portion sizes, and service flow prior to serving guests.
- Encourage upselling of chef's specials, signature vegetarian dishes, and premium add-ons to increase sales.
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor waiters on proper etiquette, service sequencing, and fine-dining protocols.
- Maintain detailed shift reports, gather guest feedback, and coordinate effectively with kitchen and management teams.

Additional Information
