Role Overview
We are seeking a Research & Innovation Intern for a six-month full-time placement (January 4, 2027, to July 9, 2027) at our Singapore location. This internship is designed for dynamic and motivated students eager to deepen their expertise and embark on a professional path in beauty tech research. The selected intern will contribute to advancing projects through cell culture and molecular biology techniques, analyze and prepare research data, and conduct comprehensive literature reviews relevant to assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in transforming selected projects by carrying out raw material screenings using cell culture methodologies.
- Analyze raw experimental data and organize findings into presentations and detailed reports.
- Conduct thorough literature research on topics pertinent to ongoing projects.
Candidate Profile
- Background or enthusiasm for mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques including ELISA, nucleic acid extraction, PCR, qPCR, and Western blotting.
- Competence in using word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and statistical software.
- Strong capability to work both collaboratively and independently, showing initiative and fast learning ability.
- Innovative mindset with a drive to improve methodologies and achieve project goals through technical expertise.
- Excellent communication skills in English and comfort operating in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work on-site at L’Oréal facilities or external partner locations as required.
