Role Overview
Improvement Petroleum Services is seeking a meticulous and proactive Research Assistant / Project Assistant to contribute to research projects, coordinate initiatives, and assist with routine business operations. This full-time, onsite position is well-suited for individuals eager to cultivate analytical capabilities, project coordination expertise, and collaborative skills in a dynamic setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research, analyze industry trends, and gather competitive intelligence supporting company strategies.
- Collect, organize, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data from diverse sources.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, proposals, and project documentation that clearly communicate findings.
- Facilitate project planning, coordinate execution activities, monitor progress, and track project milestones.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including setting agendas, documenting minutes, and ensuring follow-through on action items.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, external collaborators, and stakeholders.
- Maintain orderly project-related files, research databases, and documentation systems.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide essential administrative and project support as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Strong research aptitude combined with analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational skillset and time management with keen attention to detail.
- Capacity to juggle multiple assignments and adhere to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion, Asana, Trello, Jira, or Monday.com is advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience with AI productivity platforms like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Gemini is beneficial.
- Prior experience through internships, research roles, project coordination, or administrative tasks is preferred but not required.
