Role Objective

• Manage Andariya's analytical reporting processes, guaranteeing punctual, precise, and data-driven insights grounded in relevant contexts.
• Interpret complex, multilingual digital datasets into straightforward, actionable reports that aid media, advocacy, and humanitarian efforts.
• Ensure methodological strictness in monitoring activities, maintain consistency across analyses, and deliver high-quality reports identifying new narratives, risks, and opportunities within digital landscapes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the creation of high-quality research reports.
• Set strategic guidelines for collecting digital data on open and closed platforms while upholding ethical standards, data protection, and contextual awareness.
• Maintain analytical uniformity and supervise internal validation to ensure accuracy, credibility, integrity, and methodological excellence.
• Define analytical priorities and frameworks to study disinformation, hate speech, civic narratives, and trends across digital ecosystems.
• Conduct qualitative analysis to ensure deep understanding of tone, intent, framing, and socio-political contexts.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable data visualizations suited for a broad audience, including non-technical stakeholders.
• Enhance keyword strategies, taxonomy themes, and monitoring criteria to adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Document monitoring methodologies, workflows, and analytical frameworks clearly to support consistency and institutional knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in research, media analysis, reporting, or comparable analytical roles.
• Strong abilities in report writing, synthesis, and editorial work, adept at conveying complex findings into clear and actionable insights.
• Experience with topics such as disinformation, hate speech, conflict, media and civil society, civic discourse, humanitarian response, or digital rights is highly valued.
• Advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis skills for detecting patterns, trends, and emerging narratives within large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail, dedication to accuracy, consistency, and evidence-based reporting.
• Familiarity with digital monitoring tools, dashboards, spreadsheet software, and data visualization platforms is an asset.
• High discretion, ethical decision-making, and sensitivity in handling sensitive or high-risk content.
• Commitment to contextually grounded, locally relevant, and ethically responsible analysis.
• Proficient project and deadline management capabilities.
• Collaborative approach with skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
