Job Overview and Responsibilities
- Perform both minor and major repair tasks on elevator installations under the guidance of a repair supervisor or group leader.
- Conduct Technical Checks (TC) and Diagnostic Load Frequency Inspections (DLFI) on elevator installations, supervised by a repair supervisor or group leader.
- Execute repair work following the instructions outlined in the repair Order Book Record (OBR).
- Maintain and submit daily timesheets to the repair supervisor or group leader.
- Conduct risk assessments for minor and major repair activities, ensuring the risk analysis form is approved by the repair supervisor or group leader before beginning work.
- Carry out repair activities applying Schindler’s established methods to meet performance objectives.
- Adhere strictly to Schindler’s standards, encompassing quality and safety policies during all tasks.
- Keep supervisors updated on work progress, hours logged, and any issues of non-compliance.
- Maintain communication with customers and supervisors to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational background: Diploma from ITI or NCTVT certification.
- Professional experience ranging from entry-level to up to 10 years, preferably in the same industry.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Language proficiency: fluent in English, advanced in Hindi, and basic knowledge of the regional language.
