About the Role
Stefanini Group is seeking a Commercialization Project Manager to work fully remotely, driving the end-to-end commercialization process within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector. This position is contract-based with a possibility to convert into a full-time role. The manager will coordinate multiple cross-functional teams to ensure the timely, on-budget, and specification-compliant launch of new products and product changes across the North America zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all facets of KHC's product commercialization from initial concept through market launch and post-launch evaluation.
- Oversee the stage gate process, making informed decisions on project progress, managing deviations, and creating mitigation plans while guiding cross-functional teams towards project goals.
- Identify and communicate project risks to senior leadership, supporting the formulation and execution of risk mitigation strategies.
- Track project metrics rigorously, provide progress updates, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, procurement, operations, and quality teams to enhance execution processes and accelerate time to market.
- Improve operational and technical rigor within commercialization procedures to boost in-market success rates.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and introduce best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years managing commercialization projects or project teams, particularly within product development and launch.
- Demonstrable experience in CPG or food & beverage industry product commercialization; PMP certification or an equivalent credential is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, engaging stakeholders at all levels to reach consensus.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to handle internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- A growth-oriented mindset with commitment to continuous learning and application of new knowledge to enhance project delivery.
- Sound business acumen with understanding of brand and category economic drivers.
- Proficient in using data analytics to inform decision-making and drive organizational change.
