Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a partner company for the role of Regional Sourcing Manager based in the United States. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a sourcing expert to lead strategic vendor partnerships and advance procurement excellence across a regional framework. You will work closely with diverse teams to optimize supplier performance, enhance service quality, and implement cost-efficient solutions that facilitate customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and enhance strategic relationships with regional suppliers, ensuring service excellence, competitive pricing, and sustained supplier engagement.
- Oversee all sourcing and procurement processes for new and existing services, aligning vendor selection with both customer expectations and corporate goals.
- Coordinate with sales, account management, operations, contracts, and project teams to support customer-driven sourcing strategies.
- Evaluate supplier performance with data-driven metrics, negotiate enhancements, and apply corrective measures to boost quality, efficiency, and value.
- Champion strategic vendor programs and innovative operational initiatives to foster collaboration and maximize network efficiency.
- Analyze procurement data, quantify financial impacts, and report sourcing results and insights to stakeholders and vendors.
- Lead and nurture Regional Sourcing Team Leads and Associates by setting expectations, coaching, managing workload, and fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Drive continuous process improvements ensuring alignment with organizational policies, procurement standards, and best practices in vendor management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier relationship management with proven success in enhancing vendor performance.
- Experience working collaboratively across various business functions to assess suppliers and provide sourcing solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities managing, coaching, and developing teams in a cooperative setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, able to diagnose issues independently and implement effective solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent skills in presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently.
- Self-driven and proactive, capable of independent work while effectively contributing in cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to travel and work onsite as business demands, maintaining a productive remote work setup with reliable internet connectivity.
