Key Responsibilities

• Transform raw footage from creators and podcast interviews into engaging short-form reels by isolating moments that captivate the intended audience.
• Research popular trends within different creator niches and develop original reel concepts tailored to align with individual personalities and brands.
• Adhere to platform guidelines, ensuring edits meet framing, audio standards, and age-appropriate content requirements.
• Work closely with the creative team to incorporate feedback and optimize edits for potential viral success.

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in short-form video editing demonstrated through a diverse portfolio of published Instagram or TikTok reels noted for strong viewer engagement and well-crafted aesthetics.
• Fluent English communication skills are essential for effective storytelling and collaboration; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Advanced experience with CapCut is required; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is strongly preferred. The candidate must operate on macOS to maintain a professional-grade workflow.
• Ability to recognize viral content opportunities and produce polished, well-timed edits featuring compelling hooks, clean captioning, and meaningful text overlays.
• A creative mindset with a strong sense of ownership, complemented by receptiveness to constructive critique and guidance.

Performance Milestones

• Within the first 30 days: aiming for a daily output scaling to about 20–25 pieces with an 80% or higher approval rate on first drafts; solid comprehension of brand voices and platform-specific trends; contribution of at least one new format suggestion each week.
• By 60 days: improved editing efficiency without compromising quality; achieving an approval rating of 85% or above on initial drafts; generating two or more trending format ideas weekly.
• At 90 days: reaching a 90%+ approval score on first submissions, mastery of both reel and podcast editing; development of an original format adopted by the team in multiple creator projects; demonstrating a measurable positive impact on content success.
