Role Overview
Join a dynamic, early-stage mobility start-up backed by a top-tier venture capital firm based in Berlin. As the second key member of the People & Talent team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of People to support a company with over 75 employees across multiple locations and stores in Germany, expanding towards nearly 95 by year-end. This position is designed as a growth-oriented role, focusing on project ownership, data-driven decisions, and bridging operations with strategic execution.

Responsibilities include overseeing candidate pipelines, coordinating growth marketing efforts, and creating and managing META advertising campaigns.
- Eliminate inefficient manual processes by identifying redundant tasks and automating workflows, maintaining data accuracy in tools such as Notion and HRIS platforms.
- Oversee the full onboarding and offboarding lifecycle ensuring smooth transitions from contract signing to initial onboarding and clean exits that are scalable.
- Maintain rigorous compliance around employment contracts, certificates, references, and other documentation across all offices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Research and implement employee benefits grounded in data analysis to optimize offerings rather than relying on intuition.
- Contribute to employer branding by developing compelling job advertisements and career-related content that reflect the company's culture and attract talent. Experience with paid advertising channels is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exercise independent judgment by proactively identifying gaps or issues and resolving them to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
- Background or internships within the start-up environment and/or familiarity with people management systems are highly desirable.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented to ensure thorough completion of tasks without oversight.
- Fluent in German at C2 level is mandatory; professional proficiency in English is required.
- Systematic thinker who quickly develops processes to automate repetitive activities.
- Capable of working independently and consistently following through without supervision.
- Handles confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Adaptable and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Benefits and Work Environment
- Small and focused headquarters team offering rapid pace and significant influence from the outset.
- Extensive ownership across multiple functions providing a platform to shape the company trajectory during high-growth phases.
