About the Role

Join a team dedicated to developing revolutionary technologies that improve patients’ lives. As a Receiving Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that components and devices meet strict regulatory and company standards. Your work will help maintain the highest quality throughout the product lifecycle by verifying that received items comply with design and operational criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming components and devices using tools such as magnifying lamps, microscopes, vision inspection systems, and callipers.
  • Verify that receiving documentation aligns with component and device specifications.
  • Adhere to established work instructions and SOPs while accurately recording information on device history records and entering data into JDE software.
  • Manage inventory control by maintaining appropriate storage conditions, product labeling, and product status tracking.
  • Train colleagues from other locations on inspection procedures and review their inspection outputs.
  • Perform general work area housekeeping and participate in training programs for new processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in quality inspection or warehousing.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

  • Comprehensive knowledge of inspection procedures and ability to improve inspection skills continuously.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Skilled in identifying and communicating nonconformance issues within a Quality Management System.
  • Capable of providing and receiving constructive feedback regarding data verification independently.
  • Effective at reporting product defects and ensuring proper resolution follow-up.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
  • Solid computer competence, particularly with manufacturing-related software programs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and quality standards relevant to medical device clean room environments.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Committed to complying with company policies, including pandemic protocols and environmental protection regulations.

Work Schedule

The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with an early finish at 3:00 PM on Fridays.
