Reading Curriculum Developer

Overview

We are seeking an expert in early reading curriculum development to design and refine educational content aimed at young learners aged 3 to 6 years. This role involves creating lesson plans and engaging learning activities that align with the developmental needs of pre-kindergarten to kindergarten students. Additionally, the candidate will review and provide instructional design feedback on new digital features being developed to enhance our educational apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans for early reading curriculum targeting children aged 3 to 6.
• Evaluate current and upcoming application features and offer constructive feedback to improve instructional design.
• Ensure all content is developmentally appropriate and tailored for the target student demographic.

Qualifications

• Significant experience teaching pre-kindergarten through kindergarten classrooms.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. early reading standards.
• Proven experience in curriculum development and creating learning activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Genuine enthusiasm for children's education and digital learning products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in designing interactive educational content for digital platforms.
• Availability to work within U.S. time zones; U.S. residency preferred.
