Role Overview
Knox City Council invites applications for the position of Reactive Maintenance Officer to join the Civil Maintenance Team. This permanent full-time role involves providing essential support through minor maintenance tasks such as road, pathway, and drainage upkeep. Reporting to the Works Project Officer, the role requires collaboration with various Council teams to ensure smooth delivery of key community services. The position is based at the Operations Centre in Knoxfield with some flexibility in work arrangements, provided operational needs are fulfilled.
Compensation and Classification
This Band 3 position offers a salary range of $71,147 to $75,751 per annum, depending on experience, alongside superannuation benefits under the Superannuation Guarantee scheme.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Ensure quality, quantity, and deadlines of personal work are met consistently.
- Operate effectively as part of a self-directed team, adhering to safe work methods and practices.
- Hold a valid medium-heavy rigid vehicle license with necessary endorsements.
- Competently utilize current technology tools required for work tasks.
- Communicate proficiently both verbally and in writing with diverse stakeholders.
