Role Overview

The Quality Manager position, offered on a 24-month fixed-term contract, is pivotal to ensuring projects meet rigorous standards of quality, compliance, and performance. The role collaborates closely with leadership and project teams to maintain alignment with the Quality Management System (QMS), organizational policies, applicable standards (ISO 9001, ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 31000), and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and continually update QMS documentation, including manuals, processes, procedures, and controls in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and execute the Project Quality Plan and Quality Audit Schedule to guarantee QMS adherence, analyze non-conformances and complaints for root causes, and report to senior management facilitating preventive measures.
  • Lead and nurture a multidisciplinary quality team comprising quality engineers, inspectors, and auditors to perform inspections, audits, control activities, ensuring standards compliance and prompt resolution of non-conformities.
  • Engage with project managers, technical leads, operations managers, and client representatives to ensure quality objectives are met effectively.
  • Identify potential quality risks and devise mitigation tactics to uphold service delivery and contractual commitments.
  • Conduct training and provide guidance on quality management best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and oversee Supplier Quality Plans, reviewing supplier performance data to detect trends and improvement opportunities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • IRCA certification in ISO 9001 Quality Management and Internal Auditor credentials.
  • Proven expertise with IT service management frameworks, especially ITIL.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Quality Management with at least 5 years as a Quality Manager in transportation systems, fare collection, IT operations, or complex technology projects.
