Job Description

We are looking for a skilled QA/QC Manager to join our Project Management Consultancy team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. This crucial position involves overseeing quality assurance and control during both pre-contract and post-contract phases of projects. You will lead a dedicated QA/QC team, set quality benchmarks, and ensure all deliverables meet contractual and regulatory standards. The candidate must have a strong analytical mindset, decisive leadership skills, and a dedication to upholding top-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enforce comprehensive quality assurance and quality control strategies throughout project phases.
• Lead and mentor QA/QC staff, promoting adherence to quality principles and best practices.
• Perform detailed inspections, audits, and evaluations to verify compliance with project specifications and contracts.
• Interpret quality metrics, document non-conformances, and oversee corrective action plans.
• Identify quality risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain thorough records of all QA/QC activities, testing results, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all activities conform to Saudi Arabian laws, industry standards, and company policies.
• Conduct training sessions for project personnel on quality procedures and compliance requirements.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of quality controls and recommend improvements.
• Manage communications with clients and regulatory bodies regarding quality matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 15 years of experience managing QA/QC in construction, engineering, or Project Management Consultancy settings.
• Depth of knowledge in both pre-contract and post-contract quality management processes.
• Strong background in contract administration and compliance enforcement.
• Proven experience leading QA/QC teams successfully.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex quality data.
• Familiarity with quality management software tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and planning mitigation approaches.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction standards and regulatory environment.
• Certification or experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Experience using project management methodologies and tools.
• Background in handling construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project management software.
• Expertise in stakeholder management and maintaining client relationships.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
