Role Overview
The Publishing Analyst - BA position is based in Toronto, Ontario, requiring a hybrid work model with four days per week onsite. This role demands over 5 years of experience in business analysis within an online or digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate client requests submitted through Jira by thoroughly understanding business requirements, client and customer impact, and ensuring consistency with a unified online experience.
- Document and manage all activities related to requests, including requirements documentation, change order tracking, Jira intake, project status updates, and communication efforts.
- Coordinate deployment processes as necessary alongside Quality Engineers, Delivery Management, Business and Marketing partners, and support teams to guarantee successful delivery.
- Prioritize tasks based on requestor-defined priorities, ensuring quality standards are met and timely communication with escalations occurs when issues arise.
- Engage in daily Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and team huddles.
- Contribute to quarterly Program Increment Planning sessions aimed at supporting the project roadmap and business OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
- Maintain and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders including Marketing, Product Groups, Technology partners, Change and Incident Management teams, and external collaborators.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Content Publishing team.
- Deliver professional, consistent, and positive client interactions.
- Assist in reviewing, enhancing, and documenting team processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Business analysis expertise within digital or online platforms.
- Proficiency with AEM Web Publishing environment.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence tools to manage project workflows.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across various teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively while maintaining quality.
