About the Role
Join Stantec's Water team in New Zealand, which boasts a vast portfolio of projects enhancing communities nationwide and internationally. Our expertise spans drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, groundwater management, as well as dams and hydropower systems focused on sustainability and renewable energy solutions. Our local team includes over 360 water specialists dedicated to innovation in these critical areas.
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to be part of our dynamic Water team based in Christchurch, Dunedin, or Queenstown. Our firm uniquely offers multidisciplinary services encompassing conceptual planning, feasibility studies, environmental and financial planning, energy modeling, risk assessments, design, procurement, asset management, refurbishment, as well as advanced project delivery models such as design-builds and alliancing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with senior engineers, Contracts Managers, and project managers to uphold excellent project delivery.
- Support bid and proposal development to ensure commitments are achievable.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience managing complex infrastructure or three waters projects.
- Proven ability to contribute to business financial success through exceptional project delivery.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an aptitude for prioritizing and multitasking to meet deadlines.
- High level of financial literacy applicable to project and business management.
- Direct client engagement experience to accurately interpret and deliver on project briefs.
- Effective communication skills and a capacity to foster teamwork and high performance.
