Project Manager - Hotel Technology Projects

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of large-scale hotel technology projects, managing them from initiation to completion. The incumbent will ensure projects meet timelines, stay within budget, and align with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive delivery of hotel technology projects including initiation, implementation, and closure phases.
• Create and maintain project plans, resource allocations, schedules, and budget forecasts.
• Simultaneously manage several projects ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Champion digital transformation and process improvement efforts across hotel operations and technology platforms.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including business leads, executives, IT, vendors, and consultants.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; apply effective mitigation strategies.
• Develop and enforce project governance standards in line with organizational policies.
• Prepare detailed status updates, executive dashboards, and reports for steering committees.
• Oversee scope management, change control, budget monitoring, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead vendor selection, contract and Statement of Work (SOW) management, and assess vendor performance regularly.
• Ensure all project outputs align with business needs, quality criteria, and operational requirements.
• Support smooth project handover, operational readiness evaluations, and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive ongoing enhancements in project delivery methods and governance frameworks.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of comprehensive project management experience, especially in enterprise or hotel technology projects.
• Proven history of managing large-scale hotel technology initiatives from start to closure.
• Strong capabilities in planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk and issue management, and stakeholder relations.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or project portfolios.
• Background in driving digital transformation and process improvement programs.
• Robust vendor management expertise including contract negotiations, SOW oversight, procurement coordination, and performance evaluation.
• Established skills in project governance, preparing senior management reports, and engaging executive stakeholders.
• Results-oriented with a demonstrable record of delivering complex tech projects that achieve business results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to prioritize effectively in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, or comparable project management software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, integrated resort, or commercial technology project environments.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management credentials.
• Background in enterprise application, infrastructure, digital transformation, or business systems implementations.
• Familiarity with PMO frameworks, procurement procedures, and contract management.
