Having secured $30 million in recent funding, the company is experiencing monthly growth rates between 10% and 50%, distinguishing itself as a top performer in the B2B SaaS landscape. The organization comprises approximately 40 employees, including a small internal growth team supporting this role's execution needs.
The Role
This position is a practical, hands-on product marketing role responsible for managing the distribution and crafting the stories behind every product launch. Acting as the go-to-market product lead for new feature rollouts, the role involves close collaboration with the product team to understand schedules and functionalities, followed by creating and executing comprehensive marketing plans to maximize impact.
The role balances long-term strategic launch campaigns with agile, tactical updates. Activities may range from coordinating high-profile launches involving influencers and creative campaigns to producing customer newsletters and sales enablement tools. The position reports directly to a senior leader initially, with clear growth pathways towards leading growth marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all messaging, storytelling, and distribution efforts for product launches and feature deployments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams to synchronize launch timelines and narratives.
- Design and implement marketing initiatives across various channels, such as social media, creative marketing assets, influencer collaborations, and campaign activations.
- Develop and maintain sales enablement resources, including competitive battle cards.
- Manage customer communications through newsletters and ongoing product updates.
- Engage directly with customers and beta users to gather insights and create compelling product stories.
- Use product launches as prime opportunities to enhance top-of-funnel awareness and elevate brand presence.
Qualifications
- A few years of experience in product marketing within a dynamic startup environment or a broad marketing role at an early-stage company.
- Proven hands-on approach with a strong orientation towards execution rather than just strategy.
- Excellent storytelling ability to transform complex product features into engaging narratives.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across product, sales, and growth teams.
- Preferably, demonstrated individual tangible impact in a fast-growth company setting.
Compensation
The salary range for this fully remote position in the United States is $120,000 to $180,000 base pay, with potential to earn up to $200,000 annually for exceptional candidates.
