Role Overview
This Product Manager position based in Montreal requires advanced experience (7-15 years) and involves onsite presence three days a week with day one onboarding conducted in person.
Key Duties
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of vendor products, future development plans, and contractual terms.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing and procurement teams to manage renewals, contract extensions, and negotiations, while proactively addressing lifecycle changes, pricing strategies, and commercial risk factors.
- Oversee product financials by understanding pricing structures, total cost of ownership, chargeback mechanisms, and cost distribution.
- Validate usage volumes and associated costs, assisting with financial planning and modeling activities.
- Respond to cost-related inquiries from various business units.
- Serve as the main liaison for product stakeholders and users to collect feedback, communicate roadmap updates, and ensure stakeholder needs influence prioritization and resource allocation.
