Role Overview
We are partnering with a client based in Ireland who is seeking a skilled Product Analyst. This role is centered around converting complex product and user-related data into valuable insights that propel business growth and elevate customer experiences. Positioned at the crossroads of data analytics, product management, and strategic business decisions, you will focus on enhancing product effectiveness across digital platforms by driving decisions supported by data.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine product performance metrics and user behaviors to detect trends and identify enhancement opportunities.
- Establish and continuously track critical product KPIs such as retention rates, conversions, revenue, lifetime value, and churn levels.
- Create and sustain dashboards and reports that aid strategic thinking across Product, Marketing, and Operations departments.
- Perform detailed analyses related to customer journeys, feature usage, promotional campaigns, and overall product success.
- Work closely with Product Managers to assess new product releases, upgrades, and results from A/B testing.
- Spot customer journey friction points and propose improvements based on data insights.
- Collaborate with data teams to maintain integrity, uniformity, and accessibility of analytical data.
- Translate complex analysis into understandable, actionable insights for both technical specialists and business teams.
- Support segmentation strategies, personalization projects, and market research efforts aimed at enhancing user engagement and business performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in Product Analysis, Data Analysis, or related roles within digital product environments.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL alongside hands-on experience managing sizeable datasets.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or their equivalents.
- Strong grasp of product analytics, behavior analysis, experimentation techniques, and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with event-based analytics platforms like Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, Mixpanel is advantageous.
- Understanding of digital product monetization approaches, customer lifecycle management, or analytics for online platforms is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical reasoning, problem-solving aptitude, and meticulous attention to details.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey findings to varying audiences.
- Experience with Python or statistical tools is a desirable plus.
