Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the produce area by keeping it orderly, clean, and properly zoned for customer readiness.
• Regularly inspect products to ensure quality and freshness, rotating stock and removing any expired goods promptly.
• Ensure all produce is priced and signed accurately, adhering to procedures for ordering, discounts, labeling, and signage.
• Comply with food safety protocols, including proper temperature monitoring, thermometer use, food handling standards, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Manage merchandise stocking and downstocking activities, apply product protection when necessary, and set up product displays such as modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps to keep inventory replenished.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure and hygienic workspace.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being available for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

Challenges Typically Encountered

• Handling high volumes of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including managing overnight shifts while staying focused and energized.
• Physical demands such as standing for prolonged durations, frequent bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
