Produce Stocker

Position Overview

Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada offers a valuable opportunity to build experience in the retail sector. Key Duties

• Organize and zone the produce department.
• Rotate inventory and monitor product expiration dates.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately labeled and priced.
• Follow standards and policies related to cold chain compliance, thermometer calibration, temperature logging, food handling, product rotation, and managing sell-by and expiry dates.
• Apply food safety protocols, sanitation, and cleaning procedures diligently.
• Execute procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns, signage, labeling, and flagging products.
• Keep the department fully stocked and business-ready.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Stock merchandise, pick orders, downstock as needed, apply product protection, set and complete modular shelving, including flexible modulars and shelf capacity adjustments.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.35.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
