About the Role and Company
This position is for a Procurement Operations Associate Manager at Accenture located in Gurugram, Haryana, India. Accenture is a global professional services leader combining expertise in digital, cloud, and security services, operating in over 120 countries with a strong workforce of 784,000. The role supports the APAC Procurement Plus function, focusing on sourcing and contract management activities specifically for the ANZ and SEA markets including the Philippines, with a dedicated emphasis on Travel & Mobility categories.
Core Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Regional Travel & Mobility Category Lead to identify potential sourcing projects aligned with global and regional strategies.
- Develop and continuously update a local sourcing pipeline utilizing spend analysis and regular stakeholder interactions.
- Facilitate the implementation of global, regional, and local sourcing projects within ANZ and SEA markets.
- Collaborate with local business stakeholders to clearly understand and meet their procurement needs.
- Actively engage with category community calls and encourage team collaboration at local levels.
- Apply standardized sourcing methodology to secure significant value through strategic negotiation and contracting.
- Conduct preliminary market research and supplier identification for upcoming sourcing projects.
- Create detailed technical specifications based on stakeholder requirements for local sourcing initiatives.
- Design and manage RFx processes, including development of e-sourcing and e-auction documentation in alignment with strategic goals.
- Lead supplier selection and negotiate commercial proposals as designated by category management for local and regional projects.
- Provide decision-support documentation including recommendation reports for stakeholders.
- Manage negotiation and deployment of supplier contracts including establishing best practice metrics and SLAs in collaboration with legal teams.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and Accenture policies during contract finalization and execution, including maintenance of contract documentation repositories.
- Promote adoption and usage of agreed contracts and monitor compliance with negotiated terms.
- Maintain an up-to-date preferred suppliers list and manage relationships with key stakeholders in Travel & Mobility within ANZ and SEA markets.
- Work hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree, preferably in business, economics, procurement, or related professional field.
- 10 to 14 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in procurement and sourcing across multiple categories including travel and mobility sector.
- Deep understanding of travel and mobility ecosystems including transportation providers, accommodation, fleet management, OTAs, TMCs, Global Distribution Systems, payment solutions, and expatriate management services.
- Strong analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects, adopt flexible prioritization and work effectively in multicultural and complex environments.
- Fluent English language proficiency and understanding of ANZ and SEA regional specific legal and market conditions.
