Job description
Role Overview
Join DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, as a part-time P&O Business Partner Support based in Dublin (Santry or Leixlip) with regular travel to other sites across Dublin and Ireland. This role offers a 37.5 hour workweek from Monday to Friday and involves providing comprehensive HR support to management while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for managers regarding everyday employee relations and performance management inquiries.
- Handle essential HR administrative tasks such as preparing disciplinary meeting invites, documenting outcomes, managing absence reviews, processing terminations and severance letters, and handling TUPE-related documentation.
- Support HR Teams and Managers with projects aimed at improving the employee experience.
- Identify potential enhancements to HR policies and procedures and recommend appropriate changes.
- Deliver training and developmental support to managers on HR matters like inductions, disciplinary procedures, investigations, and other relevant topics.
- Assist HR Managers with various ad hoc priorities and tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in HR administration or advisory roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices and up-to-date regulations.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Client-focused attitude coupled with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Capable of working autonomously, prioritizing tasks, and managing a diverse workload effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
