About the Role
We are seeking a detail-focused PMO Analyst to join our Project Management Office and contribute to the effective execution of strategic projects and programs throughout the organization. As part of this role, you will provide support in project governance, reporting, resource allocation, risk assessment, and performance evaluations. Collaborating closely with project managers, program leads, stakeholders, finance personnel, and executive leadership, you will help enhance project delivery and operational success. Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the PMO in upholding project governance, standards, and best practices.
- Create and maintain project status reports, dashboards, key performance indicators, and executive-level presentations.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, milestones, risks, issues, and the allocation of resources.
- Support project and program managers with planning, reporting, documentation, and governance tasks.
- Track project outcomes and perform analyses to enable informed decision-making.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, action items, and PMO repositories.
- Coordinate project meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action points.
- Support portfolio management, prioritization of projects, and resource planning activities.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, organizational policies, and governance frameworks.
- Analyze project data to recognize trends, risks, and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Contribute to project audits, quality assurance efforts, and continuous improvement programs.
- Collaborate with various teams across the organization to aid in successful project and program execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Solid understanding of project management principles, PMO governance, and the project lifecycle.
- Experience in project reporting, performance monitoring, and documentation management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management software.
- Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience supporting project, program, or portfolio management functions is advantageous.
- Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, integrity, and adaptability.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related fields preferred.
- Certifications such as PMO, PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, PMP, or equivalents are advantageous.
