Pharmacy Assistant

Job Overview

We seek a responsible and meticulous Pharmacy Assistant to aid in daily functions at our pharmacy. The role involves assisting with medication dispensing, inventory oversight, and maintaining high-quality customer interactions while adhering to healthcare laws and standards.

Primary Duties

• Support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions accurately
• Manage billing processes, cash handling, and operate point-of-sale systems
• Oversee stock levels, check expiry dates, and organize medicines systematically
• Verify and receive incoming pharmaceutical supplies
• Provide customers with basic guidance regarding over-the-counter medicines and hygiene items
• Ensure the store’s cleanliness and orderliness
• Keep detailed sales, inventory, and prescription records
• Comply with all pharmacy safety regulations and standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum education of 12th grade; Pharmacy Diploma preferred
• Basic understanding of medicines and healthcare products
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or medical retail environment is advantageous
• Knowledge of billing software and computer basics
• Strong communication and customer service capabilities
• High attention to detail, honesty, and reliability

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹17,000, adjustable based on experience
