Overview
This permanent full-time position based in Dublin 12 offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys forging strong interpersonal connections, supporting management, and developing people-focused practices that benefit both staff and the organisation. The role involves overseeing daily HR operations while championing initiatives that enhance employee experience, compliance, performance management, and company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver actionable HR guidance and assistance to managers and employees.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain talented individuals.
- Manage complex employee relations issues including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Support performance management systems, facilitate learning and development, and assist in succession planning efforts.
- Regularly review and update HR policies, procedures, and implement best practices.
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
- Coordinate initiatives focused on absence management, employee well-being, and engagement.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and generate relevant HR metrics and reports.
- Contribute to organizational change efforts and continuous improvement projects.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture.
- Provide support for payroll related activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a comparable HR role, preferably within retail, distribution, or a related sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability managing employee relations cases end-to-end.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building talents.
- Strong organisational skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in leading recruitment and talent development processes.
- CIPD qualification at Level 5 or above, or equivalent professional experience.
