Job Summary

The caregiver role involves providing vital non-medical support to clients in their residences, assisting them in preserving their independence and dignity. Duties include companionship, personal care assistance, help with everyday tasks, and performing light household chores.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Support clients with daily living activities, including personal care and movement assistance.
• Prepare meals and help with feeding when required.
• Ensure client safety and promptly report any changes in condition.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and follow established care plans.
• Provide transportation to appointments and social activities.
• Conduct light housekeeping and laundry services.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Accurately clock in/out and record duties completed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is advantageous.
• Possession of state certification or license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Reliable transportation along with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance if transporting clients.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

• Capacity to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers.
• Capability to stand, bend, and kneel for prolonged durations.

Schedule and Work Hours

• Work hours may include day, evening, weekend, or overnight shifts.

Compensation
