Operations Manager - Transportation Team

Role Overview

Amazon aims to be the most customer-focused company worldwide, distributing millions of products yearly. We are currently hiring an Operations Manager for our Transportation team dedicated to optimizing last mile delivery (LM) processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing, structuring, and executing transportation workflows from fulfillment centers (FC) to customers, efficiently utilizing the last mile delivery network.
• Leading recruitment, training, and motivation efforts for the last mile teams in collaboration with HR and training units to align with operational demands while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
• Collaborating closely with Finance, Customer Service, FC, and Project teams on issues related to last mile operations.
• Driving continuous enhancements in last mile processes to achieve and sustain superior performance levels by introducing improvements focused on quality enhancement, waste reduction, and process simplification.
• Analyzing performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to boost operational efficiency.
• Applying formal control protocols and process improvement strategies such as Kaizen to maintain high process standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferred: At least one year of experience involving performance metrics, process improvement, or lean methodologies.
