Operations Management Trainee

Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Operations Management Trainee to enhance and support our chain of laundry outlets throughout Singapore. This position offers practical experience in managing outlet performance, ensuring service excellence, overseeing procurement, and coordinating supply chains. The role involves close collaboration with headquarters and individual outlet leaders to promote seamless operations, uphold service standards, and drive ongoing improvements.

Key Duties

• Assist in overseeing daily operations at various outlets.
• Track operational metrics and help implement strategies for enhancement.
• Maintain adherence to company SOPs, quality benchmarks, and operational procedures.
• Facilitate coordination among Finance, HR, Marketing, and other branches to maintain operational flow.
• Serve as the communication bridge between headquarters and outlet managers to synchronize operational efforts.
• Promote service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support outlet leadership in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Recognize and suggest improvements for operational efficiency and productivity.
• Contribute to procurement of materials and supplies at the headquarters level.
• Manage warehousing, stock controls, and plan for timely replenishments.
• Monitor inventory to optimize costs and ensure readiness.
• Assist with new outlet launches and lead operational improvement projects.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as part of managerial development experience.

Candidate Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience within the laundry services sector is a plus.
• Well-organized, attentive to detail, and capable of juggling multiple tasks.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and practical in approach.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin is advantageous.
