About the Role
We are looking for a Site Operations Director to oversee and optimize our manufacturing facility in Dublin North West. The role focuses on reducing operational expenses, increasing revenue, and surpassing customer expectations by leading efficient business practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in coaching and developing a top-performing team while ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a safety-first work environment to achieve zero injuries.
- Drive operational excellence by setting strategic targets for efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor, plan, and analyze key operational performance indicators.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and revenue forecasting efforts.
- Manage and expand important OEM customer relationships.
- Lead initiatives to improve processes to boost output while minimizing costs.
- Work closely with a partner site in the United States to ensure global operational consistency.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team in partnership with Human Resources.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing is essential.
- At least 8 years in a senior leadership role within high-volume manufacturing, preferably in electronics or medical technology sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage OEM client relationships and control operational costs effectively.
- Proven success in driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management, engineering, quality assurance, human resources, environmental health and safety, and IT operations.
