Operations Associate - Retail

About the Role

Become part of a dynamic team transforming how people shop and dine by joining the Site Operations team, focused on enhancing the physical marketplace through rapid grocery delivery and delivery-only kitchens. This role is hands-on, supporting the daily operations of Deliveroo's retail partner stores across Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Track performance indicators such as B10s, customer rejections, missing items, and order cancellations to spot areas needing improvement.
• Analyze operational challenges to find root causes and implement corrective measures effectively.
• Provide hands-on training to store employees on standard operating procedures for picking accuracy, managing substitutions, and prioritizing orders.
• Keep detailed records of site visits, issues, resolutions, and report regularly on store performance.
• Conduct routine hardware and technical inspections on in-store devices including tablets and SIM cards, escalating technical problems when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with store management and staff to ensure accurate inventory and smooth order fulfillment.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with strong communication and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to operate independently in fast-moving work environments.
• Comfortable using mobile and tablet applications with foundational troubleshooting skills.
• Holds a valid UAE driving licence and has access to a personal vehicle.
• Prepared to travel between multiple store sites and spend extended periods on location.
• Prior experience in grocery, retail, or delivery operations is advantageous.

Working Conditions

This full-time position aligns with retail operating hours, typically requiring five working days per week. Flexibility is essential to adapt to operational demands and cover different sites as needed.
